- Grimsby had the most shots on target in League 2 with 219 from their 46 games and they were 1 of 3 sides to have managed 112 in the first half of the season (the most in the division). 10th placed Oldham were the 3rd best side for shots on whilst Cambridge reached 3rd despite being the 17th best side for shots.
- Cambridge only faced 113 shots on target in their 46 games, a whopping 26 fewer than the next best side. They faced just 67 in the first half of the season and only 46 in the second. Cheltenham faced 236 with 130 coming in the first half of their season.

- Grimsby had the most shots on target but it was Barnet who had the most attempts at goal (on target, off target and blocked) with 653 in their 46 games. 3rd placed Cambridge were 18th for goal attempts whilst 22nd placed Crawley had the 4th highest amount. Cheltenham (472) had the fewest attempts and worst difference between shots on taken and faced.

- Champions Bromley were most efficient League 2 side in defence, only conceding goals from 24.9% of the shots on target they faced. Bristol Rovers and Tranmere both conceded most often from the shots on target by their opponents, conceding goals from 36.7% of them.

- 8th placed Barnet won the most corners in League 2 (316) whilst 20th placed Newport won the fewest (181), only 20 more than Barnet managed in the first half their season. The Gills won 120 corners in the second 23 games played after 113 from the first 23.
- As well as winning the most corners (316), Barnet also conceded the fewest total of corners with just 151 given away in their 46 games - less than the amount they won in both their first 23 games and also their second 23. Crawley's 300 was the most amount conceded.
