- Both sides have won in the last 2 meetings home and away. Both sides have won 2 of the last 5 ties, both have won 3 of the last 7 and both have won 4 of the last 9. There has been just 1 draw in the last 16 meetings.
- Since a 1-0 Gills win in December 2016, MK Dons' 5 visits to Priestfield has seen them score in all 5, registering 10 goals in the process. Both sides have won 1 of the last 2 meetings at Priestfield and followed 5 home wins out of 6 for the Gills.
- MK Dons sit 2 places and just 1 point behind the Gills despite losing 5 more league games than the hosts this season. In all competitions, the Gills have lost 20 of their 46 games whilst MK Dons have lost 25 of their 46 including 16 of the last 24 and 10 of the last 14.
- After 4 league away wins out of 5 earlier in the season, MK Dons have lost 8 of the 11 away games played since with their only win in that spell coming 3 games ago. They have conceded 23 goals in those 11 games.

(15.22) Gale forces the keeper to parry and Nevitt is slow to the follow up and the keeper gathers just in time.
(15.37) The Dons have the ball in the Rainham End net but the offside flag is up.

(16.08) The second half kicks off.

(16.10) Fantastic cross hits the thigh of Gbode on the edge of the 6 yard box. He can't control it but the keeper still needs to claw it away from the edge of the post.
(16.18) Ogie gets robbed in possession. A ball to the near post is cut back taking Holtam out of the equation but the ball is a little too behind a team mate who can't tap the ball into the empty net.
(16.18) With the Gills defence flat-footed, a Dons shot goes just wide of the post.
(16.21) Gills turn this time to fire a shot just wide, this time a fierce driven shot from distance by Max Clark.
(16.40) Dack hits the top of the bar with a header from a Max Clark free kick.
(16.53) The 4th official indicates there will be 5 minutes added.
