Postby Garawa » Tue Feb 17, 2026 3:33 pm

- Until this season, the Gills had not faced Oldham since the 2017/18 season. The Gills have won 18 and lost 24 of the 50 meetings but the Gills away win at Boundary Park in the reverse fixture was their first in 7 meetings (3 defeats).
- Oldham are unbeaten in 3 visits to Priestfield with a single win in those 3 coming back in October 2016. The Gills last home win against them came in January 2015, their only win in 5 at Priestfield. 2 of those games were lost and they have lost 4 (and won 2) of the last 9.
- Oldham have lost their last 2 away games in League 2 and conceded 3 goals in each of them. They followed 2 wins and 2 draws in the preceding 5 away league games and just 3 defeats in their first 12 trips in the division.
- Oldham started the season with no wins from their first 8 league and cup games and their home win on Tuesday was their first win in 5. That short winless run contained 3 successive defeats but they are their only losses in their last 11 matches.
- Oldham have conceded just 12 second half goals in their 30 league games this season, the fewest conceded after half time by any League 2 side. They have let in 8 in their previous 16 second halves (although it is 5 in 4 games) but the Gills have conceded 11 goals in 12 second halves.
- There have been 29 goals (scored and conceded) in the first halves of Oldham's League 2 games, the fewest in the division. The 32 scored and conceded in the second halves is also the fewest in the division. In Gills' games, there have been 32 and 46 respectively.
- Oldham have kept 11 clean sheets in League 2 but have also suffered 11 blank sheets. The Gills have kept 7 clean sheets and have also endured 7 blank sheets in the division.
- Oldham's League 2 opponents find it most difficult to score against them with a league-low 26.1% of shots on target being scored. However, when they do score, 63.3% of the goals have put Oldham behind, the highest percentage in the division.
