The last 3 matches between the clubs have ended in draws. There have been 19 in total with the Gills edging the wins 45 to 41.

The last season we played Walsall (2009/10) both matches ended 0-0. In the previous season (2007/08) both matches ended 2-1 to the home side. The first tie this season ended 2-2.

Walsall have won just 1 of their last 9 home games. The Gills last won at Walsall in November 1992 and have not won there in 13 matches.

Over the last 15 league games, Walsall have only won 2 of them and lost 7 whereas the Gills have won 6 and lost 8.
