The last match here ended 3-1 to the Gills back in December 2004, the Gills goal-scorers being Ian Cox (2) and Darren Byfield.

Coventry lead the number of wins at Priestfield by 9 wins to 8 and 22 wins to 13 from the 45 times we have met (in the football league era).

City have won 2 of their last 7 league matches losing the other 5. They have lost their last 3 away from home conceding 3 goals twice.

Leon Clarke (18 goals) and Callum Wilson (17 goals) have managed a combined total of 86 shots on target but 101 off target.

There have been an average of 3.5 goals scored in the 45 games and some BIG scores. Coventry have won 7-3 here and 6-4 & 7-1 away. They have also won twice by a 5-2 scoreline at Priestfield as well as 5-0, 4-0 (twice) and 4-1 (twice) in their home ties.

Coventry had the 4th best away record of all current League 1 sides last season and they have the 8th best so far this season.

Coventry are the 3rd highest average scorers in the league behind Rotherham & Leyton Orient and also the 4th highest conceders also.

City scored more away goals last season from the current League 1 clubs & this season are the joint 4th highest scorers away from home.

A whopping 121 goals have been scored in Coventry's league matches, the most in the league & 11 more than next highest Bristol City. It is an average of 3.56 goals for every league match they have played. The Gills have seen 101 goals, an average of 2.89 per game.

Coventry City are the only League 1 side this season yet to see a player sent off.

City had 332 shots on target in the league last season, almost twice the amount as the worst side Stevenage.

Coventry had the second highest away following last season in League 1 (behind Sheff Utd) averaging 1,115 fans at each ground they visited. The Ricoh arena was also the second biggest draw for away supporters (behind stadium:mk) in the 2012/3 League 1 campaign.

Coventry have conceded 3 or more goals in a league match 9 times this season, the Gills have done so 6 times.

Both the Gills & Coventry have seen more goals scored and conceded in the final 10 minutes than any other League 1 sides (21 and 28). The Gills concede the most last 10 minute goals (15), Coventry the 2nd most (14) and combined are double the league average of 7.3 per side.
