Stevenage (H) - 26 Nov 13

Postby Garawa » Sun Nov 24, 2013 8:13 pm

This is only the 3rd meeting between the sides. The previous meeting at Priestfield on the 1st January 2011 ended 1-0 to the Gills. The reverse fixture ended as a draw.

Stevenage have just 2 away league wins in 18 matches, both coming this season (3-0 v Crewe and 1-0 v Notts County)

The visitors gave away the most penalties in League 1 last season but were the best side for picking up yellow cards receiving only 36.

The Gills & Stevenage are both in the bottom 4 for League 1 shots on target with 61 & 57 respectively.
Combined they are only a few short of the best side's (Coventry) total.

Former Gill Luke Freeman has played the most games for Boro this season (21) scoring twice and adding an assist.

It is 3rd vs 1st for league fouls with a whopping 451 between them already (an average of 13.3 a game compared to best side Shrewsbury's 7.4)

As well as picking up 15 more fouls than the next worst side, Boro have also picked up 8 more yellow cards receiving 44 in total.
