Preston have 3 away league clean sheets this season, one less than the whole of last season. The Gills are still looking for their first at home!

PNE's league campaign so far has seen a run of results of D D D D W W W W W L L (0-2 at Peterboro & 0-2 home to Crewe).

This fixture was last played on the 14th August 2004 in the Championship, a 2-1 win with goals from Darren Byfield & Iwan Roberts.

Is anyone more excited than usual today? I feel quite positive, but then that is my normal position until things go wrong! Hopefully there is some good football to watch with a positive outcome. Come on you Blue Boys!!

It did feel as if a lot had changed, and not just what now appears to be even smaller GFC Gems outfits!! New manager, first round of the NC Cup, Bunbury's first game in 42 years and after the final whistle you realise it wasn't any different at all!!!!
