Postby Garawa » Sat Dec 11, 2021 6:18 pm

- The Fleetwood defeat meant that the Gills had lost 6 successive league and cup games for the first time since February 2012. They will be seeking to avoid 7 in a row and 6 successive league defeats for the first time since October 2004.
- There have been been 5 goals scored in the last 2 meetings with MK Dons however both of these games were at Priestfield. At stadium:mk, the last 2 visits have seen 0-2 and 0-1 defeats, 2 of 4 successive defeats for the Gills since winning there in March 2014.
- MK Dons are winless in 2 at home after losing to Oxford in their last home game and drawing with Plymouth. In all competitions, they have won 2, drawn 2 and lost 3 of their last 7 home games.
- MK Dons have only lost 2 of their last 11 games in all competitions. Their last game saw an away win at Lincoln, their first win in 4 games.
- MK Dons give away the fewest fouls in the division (8.0 per game) and also win the most (13.6 per game). It means that they have won 123 more fouls in their 22 games than they have given away.
- MK Dons have scored 23 second half league goals (only Wigan have scored more) and managed 11 in their last 8 games compared with the Gills' 6 all season. In those 8 games, MK Dons scored 19 goals in total whilst the Gills have scored 18 from all of their 22 league games combined.

(15.27) An MK Dons player goes down in the box but the ref waves away the penalty appeals.

(15.46) A great chance for Dons who fire just wide but the flag goes up for offside anyway. The Gills protest and the play bizarrely resumes with a goal kick.

(15.47) Half time 0-0

(16.02) The second half kicks off.

(16.09) The Gills pass the ball about at will. 14 passes from defence through midfield ends with a cross and header back to O'Keefe who sees his shot blocked.

(16.15) McKenzie has a shot from a good angle hit the side netting.
