15.02 Kick Off [ 4 - 1 - 3 - 2 ]

15.08
The Gills have started brightly. Hanlan has twice caused problems for the Ipswich defence. He and Mandron both test the keeper and force corners.

15.15
Mandron curls a shot narrowly wide of the post with the 'keeper scambling back towards his goal. The home fans are groaning and go deathly quiet.

15.16
An Ipswich defender slips and Hanlan is through on goal. He takes one touch too many and the same defender gets back to concede a 4th Gills corner in less than a quarter of an hour.

15.26
A poor pass from the Ipswich goal keeper (Norris) plays in Mandron who is prevented from shooting only for O'Connor's shot to be saved.

15.27
Mandron again with another chance. Ipswich are at full stretch and the home fans are booing each time they lose possession.

15.34
Ipswich finally have an effort at goal. The shot is saved and the follow-up ends up in the side netting.

15.48
An Ipswich awful pass behind a player only 10 yards out spurns a perfect chance to make it 1-0.

15.50 Half time 0-0 (47:47)
It is 0-0 at half time between Ipswich and the Gills. Between them, both sides have only conceded 15 second half goals in the league. 9 other League 1 sides have conceded 15 or more on their own.

16.06
The second half kicks off.

16.32
Ipswich have control of the second half however have still not managed a shot on target in the match yet.

16.37
Tom O'Connor gets a shot away. It looks like giving the Gills the lead but a challenge deflects it just wide of target and out for a corner.

16.41
Lee forces a good save from the Ipswich 'keeper and Ehmer's follow-up is deflected wide. The resulting corner sees another good save from Tucker.

16.58 FULL TIME 0-0 (99:29)

OK Mr.Evans ,Sir, lets knock ten bells out of of Rochdale on Sunday ,they ship goals like a sinking ship, I think without a loss in what 9 games now were looking good to face the next few weeks, there are some tough ones coming up, Portsmouth, Peterboro , Oxford , but we seem to be seeing the Gillingham a lot of us thought we would have seen back in September and October what we had hoped the Gills would be. Come on you Gills, 3 points Sunday and up the table we go, .

A very good point, that should have been more by the sounds of it.15 shots for us,with some good chances.I’m pleased with the point, but it could have been all 3.Something to build on at home to Rochdale.
