BIG GAME tomorrow, Luton a team that were in the First Division for ten years back in the 80's ,won a League Cup back in 1988, and stayed in the First Division for ten years.
Yes the First Division was the best of the best,I think they call it the Premier Division today ,then things went wrong and they ended up playing in the Fourth Division, but things are going there way now and I have this gut feeling there going to whip our butts tomorrow, I hope I am wrong.
I would have killed to have the ride Luton has had over the last 40 years, playing teams like Manchester United AT HOME, Liverpool , Everton, Spurs, Arsenal every year for ten years, while we played Port Vale, Southend, Oxford, jjjeeezzz how a free thinking football owner thinks compared to the dork that owns GFC. ......... go Gills he says with a weak pathetic voice.

A disappointing result at home again.Luton are decent, but our tactic of hoofing to Eaves is so predictable. It doesn’t work.Wasnt we told once we had a new pitch we would get the ball down more....Under Nathan Jones Luton play decent football, and score goals. The defending for their second and third goal sums us up at the moment. No challenges made.Bristol Rovers is a must not lose game with them below us.

A loss here, God forbid and Lovell, has got to go, I don't know who you bring in, maybe Phil Brown or of course a 6 month temp contract on Stevie Boy (Bruce ) but i'ts becoming pretty obvious that the team are not listening to the Manager any more. The fact were playing school boy football, we used to call it KICK and RUSH is proving that Lovell does not have the knowledge to manage the team.
He saved us last year, the players listened to him and we stayed up, the love affair has worn thin and he shows game in game out that he does not have the football knowledge to manage Gillingham Football Club.
We have played 19 games and ONLY won 5, come on Scally get on that dam plane, get in here and open the purse strings and bring some players in, oh and a new manager, we don't need to be playing in the FORTH DIVISION next year.
