- Shrewsbury lead the wins 24 to 19 and there have been 20 draws. The Gills are unbeaten in 3 trips there (1 win).
- After Shrewsbury won 13 out of 19 home league games, they have since won 2 out of 8. Their last home game saw a 2-0 win over Southend, their only league win this season.
- Along with Blackpool and Plymouth, Shrewsbury have failed to score in 4 of their 9 League 1 matches this season.
- Shrewsbury's 7 league goals is the second fewest scored in the division and only 3 had come in their 4 home games.
- Shrewsbury have only conceded 1 goal in the first 50 minutes of their 9 league games but have conceded 3 between the 51st and 55th minutes.
- 7 of the 8 goals Shrewsbury had conceded had come in the second half of games. In the matches between the sides last season, Shrewsbury scored their 3 goals in the first half whilst the Gills scored their 2 goals in the second.

It’s a relief to get a point as we were close to another defeat when they scored very late on.Credit to the players for not thinking that’s it now.Good to see Eaves score our late equaliser.Portsmouth up next,where most will put a home win.Very hard to see us getting a result down there.
