Fleetwood have signed 4 new players since our last meeting so will probably offer a much stronger opposition, they have strengthened their leaking defence and added Madden up front, their failure to have a shot on target is unlikely to be repeated.
having won the last 3 games on the road they will be arriving with confidence but if we can score early it should settle the nerves and get the fans onside, I'm going for a hard fought Gills win.

My first game since the Carlisle FA Cup game back in November. Our form has been very good since I have not been,so perhaps I should stay away! The form is very good away, and we won our last home game as well so we can go into the game in positive mood.

Hard to still not look at the teams below us, before looking at the points the teams above us have got, haha, but how great is it to be sitting in 10th place and only a couple of wins away from a play off spot, lol.
OK keeping my feet on the ground, this is the time of year with cup games and the weather that teams above and below get games in hand, but having a +2 GD is a great feeling especially when you look at some of the others with big minus numbers hahaha makes me feel all warm and fuzzy , with the big one away at Wiggy next week and then P'tboro at home, still I guess there all big ones now .
Seventeen games left, thats a total of 51 points left on the table, and low 70's , say 72/73 could get you into a play off spot, so what are we talking here , 10 wins, 4 draws, and 3 loses , haha STOP STOP STOP, lets concentrate on Wiggy next week first, haha.
Great win Gills well done Space Telescope I always knew you were the guy for us , ( well apart from when you couldn't buy a win at home,) lol, but thats all water under the bridge. GO GILLS.

The first half we didn't really get into the game. Fleetwood controlled the ball well but didn't really test Holy much. Second half we were amazing. Absolutely pounded them and there were 2 occasions when they couldn't get the ball out of the area and we had several shots blocked. As the second half wore on I was annoyed at the draw as we were so much the better side.

Byrne was awful in the first half but brilliant in the second, Eaves was an absolute handful and caused no end of trouble for them, O'Neill was superb but my man of the match was Reilly. Things are looked very good for the Gills at the moment. Still pretty certain the Gills first was an own goal but would much rather Eaves has it anyway.

Well I cannot be blamed as we won! It was good to be back at Priestfield but when we went 0-1 down in the strong wind and heavy rain I was thinking the worst.I think they edged the first half, but we controlled the second half and deserved to win.Eaves equaliser lifted the atmosphere and you felt we would suck in another.Holy pulled off a top save at a key time, and Eaves scored a last minute penalty after Reilly was fouled. We had our first ticket offer of the two,and apart from the rain every fan must have enjoyed it.The atmosphere was decent in the second half, and a come back to send us all home happy.4 wins from 4 in January is fantastic.Manager of the month has to be Lovell when you see the job he is doing. On 40 points and 10th!
