Well another season is upon us,the off season went really quick seeing as there was no World Cup of European Championship this year.We have had a very good pre-season,which not many expected.Hopefully we can take the confidence into Saturday`s trip to Doncaster.I will be making the trip to South Yorkshire for my first trip to the Keepmoat Stadium.300 Tickets have been sold so far,but i`m sure we will take even more.It will be a tough game against a newly promoted side, but it`s the start of the season where anything can happen.

A draw and clean sheet is a decent result there, not many get that although it seems Rovers are starting the season how they ended it. 2 clean sheets in a row now, something to build on and if we get the defensive stability in place, I'm sure we have the players to start scoring. It seems Josh Wright doesn't fit in now though (only got 17 minutes today) yet he was the player scoring the goals when we playing at our worst! Without Dack, he becomes even more important to the side.

Consider this a two point loss as apposed to a point in the bag, playing a team coming up a division ,we should have marmalized them.

I didn`t think it was a great game.We didn`t create many chances, our best chance was Zakuani`s header which their keeper did well to save.Doncaster had the better chances.Holy who has had stick had a very good game and was my MOTM just behind Zakuani who defended very well on his debut. The defence as a whole was strong and was a lot better than we saw last season.Holy made 3-4 good saves, they hit the bar,and late on O`Neil stopped them scoring when the ball hit his head.Defensively strong, but we didn`t create a great deal.Nash came on for the last 4 minutes, but he looked full of energy and may have created something had he been on for 15+ minutes. It was my first trip to Doncaster, and I thought it was a nice stadium.Their fans seemed quite quiet, the 568 of us backed the Team really well.I will take a point to get us off the mark at a tough place.
