A massive game as they all are at this time of the season down the bottom.Peterborough have fallen short where their squad should be in this division, but they have plenty of good players in their squad. We`re missing 6 defenders so we will need a bit of luck to win this game, but we certainly need to not lose the game with Port Vale still having two games in hand.Hopefully we can sneak what would be a massive win in trying to stay in the division.

Been nothing to talk about really has there unless we dredge up conceding 8 goals in 5 days again and I don't have the inclination for that!

NNOOO I guess snot, we could talk about the England game, NNOOO who wants to talk about that rubbish.
We could talk about the trumpeter at the Ireland /Wales game , boy was he a trier hahaha, who the hell plays" Those were the days my friend", or " Yellow Submarine " as motivation tunes for the crowd to get excited, now come on you can't say that isn't funny. I will say one thing about that game, that Welsh lad who plays in Spain is one hell of a player, I wonder where he will end up when he comes back to England ?
Then there's the Scotland /Canada game the other night, now that was what I call hilarious ?
Hey, what about the Oxford /Bolton game played before 67 people and of course Mr. Lidbit who can't find his way home, so 68, I think the BBC stated there was 7,100 people there, lol, guess they all sat on each others laps in the main stand, because the grounds only as big as ours and there was hardly a soul anywhere the cameras showed shots of , I hope the tax man taxes Oxford on the 7,000 +tickets they say were sold ,that will learn em not to lie.
So who do we think is going to be Gillinghams next manager at the end of the season, anyone any idea ?
Oh well never mind, it's Friday afternoon, time for me to find my favorite bar and down a pint or two on the way home, have to waste half hour ,let the traffic die down.
Now saving the best for last, Paddy Power advert with the Security guy at the Casino singing to Momma love Mumba, and the fish sings, brilliant just brilliant, lol.

I think Gillingham will line up as follows.......................

----------------------------------------Nelson-------------------------------------------
Muldoon-------------------Ehmer-------------------M.Dickenson------------------Martin
Wagstaff------------------Byrne-----------------------Wright----------------------Cornick
-----------------------------------------Dack-----------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------McDonald--------------------------------------------

Subs: Holy (GK), Osadebe, Hessenthaler, List, Cundle, Parker, Donnelly

While Three At The Back is a very popular formation, with Chelsea lining up with this system and England playing with Three Centre Back's against Germany, Gillingham do not have the players in the squad to play this system effectively, especially with Ryan Jackson and Bradley Garmston out injured, it may well be that we ask players to play out of position at Right Back and Left Back, and tell whoever plays in those positions to do the basics.

This has been my toughest line up to predict, because if Ryan Jackson and Adedeji Oshilaja pass there fitness tests, then we could line up very differently, but I do think that Harry Cornick will be thrown straight into The Starting Line Up, AFC Bournemouth seem to rate Cornick highly and Leyton Orient Fans had good things to say about him, so let's give the lad a hour so we can see what he can do.

Bolton Wanderers aside, Gillingham's Home Form has been decent recently, and we will need a strong home form between now and the rest of the season, Last Season, Gillingham lost against Walsall, Shrewsbury Town, Port Vale and Millwall, our four remaining fixtures at Priestfield Stadium are Peterborough United, Bristol Rovers, Millwall and Fleetwood Town, hopefully, Gillingham can start the first of these four remaining home fixtures with a win today - COME ON THE GILLS!!!!!!!

Awful. Posh were dreadful, we were worse. No one can remember how to pass to one of their own; Wagstaff can't get through a half, let alone a full game. No one wants to take a shot; Posh had one long range effort that went out for a throw, one that Holly tipped over the bar and finally one that flew into the goal; another 90 minute goal against to cost us a point. We wanted to walk the ball into the goal although we're clearly not good enough to do so. Corners went straight to their keeper or hit the first defender. The best bit was when Holly booted the ball over the GR stand, over the houses and into someone's back garden! So boring, disappointing, annoying and worrying. I'm not sure now where our next point is coming from I'm afraid. The rest of our opponents can't possibly be as poor as Posh were, yet we still lost!

A point next week at MLK, a point at home against ............pick one of the three, and then it comes down to the N'thmptn game. Shrewsbury with a game in hand have got to play B Rovers, Millwall, Rochdale and Southend, all teams that think they can make the play offs, then they have Walsall, with Simeon playing for them, N'thmptn and Oxford, teams that are playing for a mid table finish and not much else which makes them dangerous, beginning to look a bit tight folks.
