It will be interesting to see what response we get after the defeat to Bolton.Confidence will have been dented after hardly touching the ball on Tuesday night, and the way we conceded the four goals.Hopefully we can go there and put in a performance like we did at Bury.

Win tonight for Port Vale and that should help us a bit, P'boro and Bristol Rvrs, are our only home wins I can really see on the board for us, and with 8 games left AAGGHHH this is starting to look more and more like that dam Northampton game could prove to be............NNNOOOO.
Come on Gills at least a point this week ,three next week at home to P 'boro, a point at M K Dons and were almost home and dry,I sure do hope the Gills staff and players are not just hoping the other teams screw up and we stay up by getting in the back door , we need to get in the front door with two or three wins.

Another no-show from the Gills. Totally not in the game. More defenders injured and Rehman get's himself sent off - sounded straight red to me! Players need to take more responsibility knowing the defensive problems!

Jackson (injured)
Garmston (injured)
Herd (injured)
Oshilaja (injured before match)
Morris (injured)
Pask (injured)
Konchesky (left)
Rehman (sent off)

Defence consists of Lee Martin (midfielder), Scott Wagstaff (midfielder returning from injury), Mitchell Dickenson (inexperienced youth player) and Max Ehmer! No spare defenders left for next Saturday now and only other option is Osadebe.

I find it hard to understand that your surprised, back in JULY we all knew Gillingham had no defenders just all midfield players.
Scally should be calling teams like Queen of the South ,or Dunfirmline, Irish teams, Welsh teams ,non league teams that have nothing to play for to find on loan players , bringing in bodys who have played in the back four for their team , there the only players we can bring in at this stage right ??

You're right but look how many have been out since! Even today losing Oshilaja before the match then Rehman to a red and Dickenson should have seen red too! We just about covered with those but now we've lost another 2. We're only playing 3 at the back!!!

Goal difference is taking a POUNDING (see Fact of the Day). Our goal difference has gone from being our saviour to now being a liability. It's gone 7 the wrong way in just 2 games now.

Pretty good bet that Coventry, Chesterfield and Swindon are all ready gone, that leaves us four points away from the drop zone, (Port Vale) and they have the same GD as us, and they end up playing Fleetwood, Bolton, Oxford and Sheffield in their last four games, all who will be going flat out for promotion, so zero points for Vale from those games.
They have Ches'fld and Coventry both away games and P.V. have only won ONCE away all season so lets put those two games down to draws , then that leaves them M K Dons at home, and Wimbledon at home, they need to win both to get the points they need to even get close to that magic 50 number ,so even if they win both of those games I still see them going down with 49 points, and Gillingham staying up with 50/52 points. Just remind me wasn't it about this time last year we were riding high talking about promotion, what the **** happened ?? Personally I blame Mr. Lidbit.
Dear Gods of soccer, Hi it's me again, yes I know , I know I ask for a lot, and I promise this will be the last time this season I come begging ( sounds like my sex life), but look , if you could give us like say 7 or 8 points out of the last few games,I PROMISE, I SWEAR on Mr.Lidbits life I will never ever, ever ,ever , say bad things again about Mr. Scally again , no matter what dam idiot of a manger he brings in on the cheap again this summer, Amen , thanking you in anticipation, your pal Gillsfan1066.

An awful game to listen to and result. An early goal for Rochdale, then we got the equaliser and seemed to have a little spell. They then found their stride again and got themselves in front again.Nelson made a few saves to keep it at 2-1 going into H/T.After that you knew they would win comfortably as every attack felt like a goal would come.Three then became four in the last minute. Our defence is embarrassing.10 goals conceded in three games, eight in the last two games.Rehman sent off for two yellow`s so our weak defence becomes weaker. Results have gone against us again. We have no chance of getting to 52 points if we concede 2+ goals a game.
