Another game against a side fighting for survival.Coventry look doomed and have no win in 16 games. The trouble is Gills always seem to help Teams end baron runs! The performance on Tuesday was much better than against Port Vale,so we need to take that into this game.If we can get a lead then their heads may drop.We don`t want to be losing,as the gap below is getting smaller.

In the past four years he has scored a total of 4 goals so I don't think we need to worry to much about "The Yak", bit like Pennock suiting up and playing at Coventry hoping to add to his tally of 2 goals in 130 or what ever games for Gillingham.

Good second half. Atrocious first half. Not taking chances or only playing for half a game is costing us severely! With 5 minutes to go there was a bit of game yet, somehow, after the final whistle we find ourselves 1 point off the drop zone after Bury and Shrewsbury below us both won. Port Vale have a game in hand on us so the game in hand we have on everyone else is vital. We HAVE to beat Wimbledon on Tuesday if only to break this winless duck and to get some momentum before we play some very good teams in the next couple of weeks.

So what does everyone think,Gillingham at home to Dover the first game of next season, then New Years Day at Dover, or maybe Gillingham at Dover the Saturday before Christmas (23rd Dec ) then home to Dover the last day of the season, where a loss could mean that once again Kent only has one team in the top Four Divisions of the FL ??

I know you have an understandable dislike of Scally but this squad should be performing much better. Jet is on a fortune even though QPR are paying half of his wages and I considered him a very big name at this level. Wagstaff, Knott, Martin and Oshilaja too were signings that impressed me immensely, the season looked very good! We broke the bank and spent the most we ever have done so I really can't see how Scally can be at fault.

We have under-performed under Jed after he constantly changed the sides about. Now, with no money left, we've had to employ stop-gap managers who are trying to find out where best to play a bunch of players incredibly low on confidence. They either play well but fail to take their chances (down to fear and desperation in front of goal I guess) or play appallingly and concede for fun. It needs an over-haul of players and Pennock hasn't even had the opportunity to bring in any players of his own really. We aren't that far off, we clearly aren't going to be able to keep clean sheets so our only hope is to hope that Quigley will be desperate to prove his worth after injury and that he gets the goals that means we score 1 more than the opposition.

Thanks for that alternative news. Reality is that we didn't come near to breaking the bank ,that our 'record spending' is derisory and that the whole of Scally's tenure at GFC is a saga of personal enrichment, failed legal cases, dodgy dealings and the removal form the club of any ambition.
Our marketing is appalling, our reputation as low as it's possible to go. While clubs like Burton, with a non league background, and a tiny local population show how it's possible to work as part of the local community, our absentee landlord continues to be about as popular as a train crash.

An awful result. Two goals conceded in the first half which were poor ones to concede. It sounded like we could have gone in 3 or 4 down. The second half did sound much better as we put a lot of pressure on,and you could hear the locals getting restless after Ehmer pulled one back. The equaliser would not come, but the game was lost in the first half.Coventry had not won in 15 games,so we always help Teams end their bad streak. We now only sit one point from the bottom four. Each game gets bigger, and we need to get the win against Wimbledon on Tuesday night.
