Horrific stats on the part of Oldham. I don't ever recall a side that have struggles to score (imagine only seeing your side score in 2 home games with 2 of the 4 goals coming in a defeat)!!! We are not struggling for goals but they aren't a bad side defensively so we have to be confident. However I can see Adrian Pennock's first game in charge end up in our first (and their 7th) 0-0 of the season.

Probably the game Pennock and co will want for their first away game.Oldham are rock bottom of the league, and have not won many games recently at home.I`m hoping the break will help that we have had,and the players have got some good training in ready for Saturday.A win would be the perfect start for a new era.

What Team would you play? Konchesky, and Dack are both available for selection, hopefully a loan signing or two will be in before the game with Cargill & Nouble both leaving the club this week.
Noircat Premier League Champion 2007,and 2014.Noircat FA Cup (Runner Up 2014).Promoted to the Premier League (Runner Up 2017,and 2020 in the Championship).

Hopefully the weather will allow this match to go ahead, Oldham will have their transfer embargo lifted over the next week and will clearly be a better team in the next few weeks. That said, we didn't do that well at home against the current team, we were one of only 3 Oldham victories this season.
We already know that the back line will see yet another change with Cargill going back, who, if any new players will arrive in time to play, at the moment there are more questions than answers, at least I'm looking forward to this match, something that has been sadly lacking over the past few months.

Wish it had been slow, what a f ' ing f**k up this bunch are, how the hell do you lose twice in one season to the bottom club ??
Just think this time last year we were all talking PROMOTION, now were looking at Sheffield, Shrews, and Bradford, three loses there and we could find ourselves on the verge of the relegation zone ,shame, bloody shame.

27.3% of all their points this season have come against us (6 out of 22).
23.1% of their goals scored have been against us (3 out of 13).
Virtually doubled their number of minutes in the lead in home games this season in this match against us (118 from 67).

How a side at the bottom with possibly one of the worst records in years can do so well against us I don't know. Let's just hope it's how we usually fare against sides at the bottom!
