Here is a fact for you, while we were losing to Oxford, Rochdale were thumping Walsall 4-0. , come on Jed time for you to show us what a great manager you are ,or get the **** OUT.

It`s good that we`re back at home after three away trips. The league form of late is not too bad with two wins in a row before Tuesday, and the performance at Oxford warranted something from the game.Rochdale are looking really good at the moment, and are scoring quite a few,so our leaky defence will be under the cosh. There will be no game for 16 days after,so hopefully we can get a good result to go into the break with.

WWOOWWW HHHHOOO TWO -ZIP with minutes to go, even Jed could not screw this up. THREE -NIL, not one, not two, but THREE -Nil to the Gills, lets play on, don't use that whistle Mr Teapot we need another couple , were not playing for weeks so we need the GD to start going in our favour.
OK we will take 3-0 , well done the Big Blue Machine.

Wow Gillsfan; you'd have enjoyed that second half! That was what I had been waiting for since this squad was assembled. I have to say that I thought Rochdale were a poor team; if they can be in the playoffs there is absolutely no reason why we can't be. I thought everyone played well today; Dack is getting back to his best, Hessy was everywhere, JET and Nouble seemed much more interested and the defence, superbly marshalled by Cargill and Elmer actually looked rock solid. Cody ran himself into the ground and Wright had a much better second half than his first. All in all, I'm very satisfied tonight as I sip my first G and T!!

Whow'd have thunk it Mr Lidbit, Gillingham F C playing and everyone running on all cylinders , just like the good old days Mr.L, back in the 60's when we were in the Third Division. We've come a long way since then, now were in the First Division playing with the BIG Boys, it's amazing to see how many of the teams that we were playing in those days, Port Vale, Southend, Swindon have come on this journey with us.
Just out of interest was Glasgow absent ,having the day off at one of his kids schools Christmas Fairs perhaps ?
Have one of those G@T's for me mate , I have felt like **** for three days , heading for the hospital, think I have been putting this off for two days and 23 hours to long, need to get up there.

It didn`t sound like a 3-0 win,but I will take it! Our first league clean sheet since April, against a side who had won their previous two games 4-0! We got the goal, but it sounded like we were sitting back and holding on late on.Rochdale hit the post, and the goal felt like it was coming for them.It was a great relief when JET scored the 2nd to kill the game.A minute later Byrne made it 3-0 which sounded unfair on Rochdale.I think it`s the perfect result going into the 16 day break.I`m relieved we have finally got a clean sheet in the league,it`s an unwanted monkey off our back.I think Baily Cargill is a massive reason why we have turned our form around lately,he is very much like Egan.I have to say fair play to Edinburgh for 3 wins out of 4,he has had a lot of stick for our poor form, but it`s only fair he gets praise for an improvement.I said he should go after Brackley, but I think fair play to him for not walking and fighting to improve things.Football is a funny game as we know, and he will be a nominee for MOTM now.If we can have a good December then it will be a great turnaround.

Rochdale hit the post? I missed that bit listening on Player and need to record it in the stats.

I didn't see that; was trying to remember an incident when they may have hit the woodwork. I can only remember one kind of scramble in our area and a few wayward long shots. Other than that they didn't really threaten. I really can't believe they are as high up the league as they are; they seemed very poor to me.
