A great morale boosting win at Southend on Saturday, and we do it again on Tuesday in the League cup.Another win would be nice and get through.I guess there will be a few changes.

I think Gillingham will line up as follows.......................

------------------------------------Nelson---------------------------------------
Jackson---------------Ehmer------------------Pask--------------------Konchesky
------------------------------------Wright-----------------------------------------
-------------------Hessenthaler----------------Knott------------------------------
-------------------------------------Dack--------------------------------------------
---------------------Donnelly-----------------Quigley------------------------------

Subs: Hadler (GK), M.Dickenson, Osadebe, Oldaker, Byrne, McDonald, Emmanuel-Thomas

Justin Edinburgh has already hinted at giving Adedeji Oshilaja a rest, so Josh Pask will make his Gillingham debut tonight having signed on loan from West Ham United Yesterday, I can see a few changes from the team that started on Saturday with Jake Hessenthaler, Billy Knott, Rory Donnelly and Joe Quigley all coming in for Emmanuel Osadebe, Mark Byrne, Cody McDonald and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, with extra time and possibly penalties tonight, we may well keep a few options on the bench who could freshen the team up if we need to make any changes, and also, maybe protect a few players who will start against Bury on Saturday.

Justin Edinburgh can do with a good cup run, and A Win in Gillingham's First Cup Match Of The Season would be a fantastic start, Before Saturday's Match Kicked Off I said that if I could only win one of the two matches against Southend United, this was the match I wanted Gillingham to win, we go into this match with the possibility of winning both matches against Southend United at Roots Hall, hopefully that is the out-come for Gillingham Tonight - COME ON THE GILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know people dismiss this competition and hope we get knocked out, but, as it now plays a league system for the early rounds, you have to play 3 games regardless. If you have to play, you might as well win and get the win bonuses.

That's the JPT Baron, we play Luton in the first game at the end of the month. Still want to continue the winning run though!

Were going to win tonight, 1 -0 and then get a Championship Team at home in the second round ,someone like QPR or Aston Villa . I have read that Glasgow is hinting about giving players a rest, if he does and God forbid we lose he needs his ass kicked, hell if they need a rest after three kick abouts and a real game, I guess they will all need a weeks bloody holiday at Butlins come the middle of September.

Less than half an hour gone and Ehmer is off after being almost knocked out and more worrying Dack with a knee injury. When will this appalling injury run end, shocking!

Wow. Talk about history repeating! 4 days, 2 games away against Southend, 2 games going behind, 2 wins from losing positions, 2 scorelines on 3-1 and 3 goals from JET. Have more of that on Saturday!
