Last year he played 15 or 16 times for QPR and scored 5 times, the two years before that he played for Bristol Tittys and scored 33 times in 100 matches so if he comes here and plays 40 games and bangs in 14 or 15 it would be nice, but I have a feeling he is going to have a good year and score 20,then sign a 3 year contract with us for a million bucks and then never score another goal, lol, lol.

A very good result, especially after going behind through a howler from Nelson. They sounded well on top after the goal, and probably should have gone in 3-0 up.Emmanuel Thomas`s goal seemed to come out of nothing, but that is his class. The goal lifted us as we dominated the second half. The Southend commentary kept saying how Thomas was bossing the half. The early goal from Ehmer seemed deserved, and a good finish from Osadebe sealed the three points.Got to say the equaliser is massive as we seemed to be carrying the poor form from last season over, but Thomas`s goal has changed the mindset.A great start which hopefully we can build on!

Last season it seemed to take us a long time to "get going" in matches, and again this season Southend controlled the first 25 minutes then according to Glasgow we "CAME ALIVE" , can I ask without sounding negative because it was a good win today, WHY IS IT , THAT IT TAKES US SO LONG TO " GET GOING " EACH GAME ??
