Rochdale's win at Doncaster ended both a run of 7 away league games without a win and also 7 in the league home and away without a win.
The Gills are unbeaten at home in 14 league & cup games (not including the penalty shoot out).
There have been 15 0-0 scorelines in League 1 this season and Rochdale have featured in 4 of them. The Gills last 0-0 came back in March.

It`s good we have a game so soon after the 4-1 defeat at Coventry, and hopefully we can keep the great record at Priestfield going tomorrow.Rochdale got a good 2-0 win away at Doncaster on Saturday, and they play good Football. It will be a tough test, but hopefully we can put in a Bury or Sheffield Utd style performance.

I think Gillingham will line up as follows.......................
----------------------------------Nelson-----------------------------------------
-------------Egan---------------Oshilaja----------------Ehmer-----------------
Jackson-------------Wright--------------------Loft-------------------Garmston
-----------------------------------Dack------------------------------------------
--------------------Donnelly------------------Samuel---------------------------
Subs: G.Morris (GK), B.Dickenson, A.Morris, Hessenthaler, Osadebe, McGlashan, McDonald
I think Justin Edinburgh will change to a 3.4.1.2 formation for tonight's match against Rochdale to give Ryan Jackson and Bradley Garmston the freedom to go forward, knowing that they had the extra protection of a third centre back, My own personal view is that Justin Edinburgh will pick a system tonight to not only just get a win against Rochdale, but pick a system that will see Gillingham pick up points on the road, because the diamond midfield didn't work against Barnsley and Stevenage and it defiantly didn't work against Coventry City on Saturday.
Whether Justin Edinburgh shakes the team up by making a lot of changes for The Rochdale Game, we will have to wait and see, hopefully Gillingham can bounce back from Saturday and get a win against Rochdale this evening - COME ON THE GILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rochdale are the away draw specialists, I think I read they have drawn half their matches away this season ? We need to get off to a fast start knock a couple in before the half time whistle, then come out and run up the score, six points from these next two games , take a bit of pressure off after the Coventry debacle.

It didn`t sound a good game, would say it was an ugly win.We scored at the right time each half.Dack`s 10th goal of the season, which is outstanding in November from midfield. In the second half we sounded off our game and Nelson pulled off a good one handed save to deny them.Dack was denied shortly before Oshilaja got the killer second goal.A big 3 points and great response to the thumping at Coventry on Saturday. Results went for us tonight,so a good night! Hopefully we can get something at Shrewsbury before we have our break.

I thought it was a standard home win with some good performances. Bradley Dack is unbelievable at the moment; goodness knows how we would cope if he got injured. He covers every blade of grass; tackles like a demon and retains possession as well as most midfielders I see on TV. Hessey complimented him well in midfield with support from the rest of midfield and also the two forwards constantly snapping at the defenders, forcing them into untold misplaced passes. The defence was solid; Egan and his partner who's name I'm afraid I can't remember how to spell. When they were breached, Nelson was there to make a couple of good saves. Germiston and Jackson have both become indispensable at full back and never stopped joining the attack with some impact. The only slight negative from me were the substitutions which seemed to peg us back a little as we lost the centre midfield for a while. It's great to actually go to games and feel quietly confident; an unusual feeling!

I saw comments on the wall during the game (I actually had internet coverage!) that said the commentary said the game was appalling amongst other things. I too thought it was a decent performance, especially after Saturday when would hardly go on the offensive every given moment! Don't get me wrong, it wasn't the best game at all and the few chances perhaps made people feel like the game was poor but we rarely looked in danger in truth and had Bradley Dack scored from the screamer he had saved, he would have tore the net and seriously injured someone in the Rainham End!!! What an incredible chance and what strong hands their keeper has......may even have made goal of the season. Our first was very well worked as well and had more decisiveness and cutting edge to it.
Shrewsbury put 4 past Sheffield Utd at Brammall Lane so hopefully they've had their impressive result. A win there would silence the doubters who thought our challenge had gone after the 10 minute collapse. It would do the players a world of good to bounce back after a bad result as well. It would end a run of 3 defeats away from home which, if we have aspirations of going up is possibly already too many now.

Yes, agreed. I always thought the away form was the crucial ingredient of any sustained promotion push. We will continue to defeat teams like Rochdale and Bury at home but we will concede some home points as the season progresses. Therefore, picking up regular points away and particularly wins is vital to keep us up there. Shrews seem to be a strange side; even more unpredictable than Gills, but i really hope we can stop the run of away loses there then have some easier away games were we can pick up all three points.
