Doncaster ended a run of 3 draws and a defeat with their 2-0 win over Fleetwood on Saturday. It was their second win in 8 league ties.

Before their 2-0 win on Saturday Doncaster had only scored 1 goal in 4 league games but they have kept 3 clean sheets in 4.

Doncaster let in the most goals in the first 10 mins of League 1 games (10) last season but haven't conceded in the opening half hour yet.

Doncaster are unbeaten in 3 at Priestfield however the Gills have won 19 whilst Rovers have won just twice.

The Gills have won a whopping 31 of the 57 ties against Doncaster whilst Rover's have won just 12.

The Gills have won all of their last 5 home games and have scored the last 9 goals without reply.

The Gills have conceded just 1 goal at home in 522 minutes (a little under 6 games). They have earned 4 clean sheets out of 6.

Doncaster have lost 4 of their last 6 away league games and have won 3 of their last 15 in all competitions (and 4 from 20).

It`s good to be back at home, and for the first of two home games. We`re unbeaten in the league, and we will be hoping to keep fortress Priestfield going.Doncaster have had an average start, but our games here are usually quite tight games.I would be looking for 4-6 points from the two games.

STAT: Cody McDonald will make his 150th appearance for the club should he play.

I think Gillingham will line up as follows.......................

----------------------------------Nelson---------------------------------------
Jackson-------------Egan-------------------Oshilaja--------------B.Dickenson
----------------------------------Wright----------------------------------------
-------------------Houghton--------------Hessenthaler------------------------
-----------------------------------Dack------------------------------------------
--------------------Norris------------------Donnelly-----------------------------

Subs: G.Morris (GK), Ehmer, Osadebe, Loft, McGlashan, McDonald, Williamson

I cannot look past the team that started against Peterborough United Last Week starting again today against Doncaster Rovers, I know there are temptations to put Cody McDonald back into the starting eleven, but Gillingham have rushed players back from injury in the past and that player has broke down and spent more time on the treatment table, I think Justin Edinburgh is the type of manager who wants to make sure that once a player returns from injury, they are not rushed back into the first team and that player is available for selection for more games by easing them back into the first team - also there is no need to rush players back as Gillingham are playing so well at the moment.

At least the players have had a week break and no mid-week match, Justin Edinburgh could spend more time with the players on the training ground in preparation for this match, where as Doncaster Rovers went through on penalties in The Football League Trophy on Tuesday Night, and Thorsten Stuckmann was substituted through injury so there are doubts about whether he will be playing today, but on the flip-side, Doncaster Rovers will have gained a lot of confidence from winning on Tuesday Night and they will take that confidence into today's match.

I think Doncaster Rovers will give us a really difficult game, but having gone through August unbeaten in the league, and won against Sheffield United and Wigan Athletic, I am optimistic that Gillingham can make it three home wins out of three with a win today - COME ON THE GILLS!!!!!!!!!!

I only saw the score as I was out. From what I have read it doesn`t seem a classic game, but it`s all about the three points.Looking at the highlights Doncaster look like they should have had a penalty in the first half, and our goal from the highlights looked on the line, but a lot have said it did just get over the line.Fair play to the linesman for making that split second decision as you have to keep watching it back to see.Three home wins out of three, and three clean sheets. We`re making Priestfield a fortress again, and that is the key to success. The decisions have gone for us yesterday, and that tends to happen when you`re top.
