2023/24 Pre-season friendlies

One trialist scored a goal in all the pre -season games , so I am guessing he is now going to be our new goal scoring savior, does anyone know his name ? Hang on here it is ,I am reading the report in the Kent Messenger on the Herne Bay game, what does it say, yady yady yady, OK here it is , a sparkling display by trialist Brian George Yeo showed the world you are never to old to play soccer. Herne Bay players appealed for offside when the ball bounced off his care givers head into the net, while she was pushing his wheel chair into the penalty box, but Yeo claimed it was the Head of God that scored the goal,so it was allowed, and the Gills went on to win 0-2.
Latest new from the Herne Bay hospital is that the care giver 83 year old Mrs. Mary Buxton was expect to make a full recovery and should be ready to lead the team pushing Brian's chair out for the first home game of the new season.

So against league sides this pre-season the Gills managed to score one goal and concede nine,things are not really looking good when we have bought in nothing but midfield and defensive players this off season, and still not a goal scorer in site...I know it isn't proper football but I wish someone had told that to Cambridge United.
