Saturday 17th
The Gills were joint 10th in League 2 for their home results - winning 10 games and securing 35 points from their 23 home games, the same totals achieved by Notts County (who finished 6th in the final table), Salford (8th) and Newport (22nd).
After finishing in 17th in the final League 2 table, the Gills were 17th in the away table also after securing 23 points including 4 wins. Champions Doncaster only won 2 points fewer on the road than the 43 they managed at home.

Sunday 18th
At the halfway stage, Walsall were 12 points clear at the top before falling to 4th. The top 3 promoted sides sat 6th, 7th and 9th at the halfway stage. Crewe were the biggest losers after sitting 4th at the halfway point only to drop 9 places.
The performance in the second half of the season for the 3 promoted teams helped secure their promotion - finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in both the final 23 games and the final table overall. Despite the Gills 12 game unbeaten run, they secured 2 fewer points in the latter half of the season.

Monday 19th
If League 2 games ended at half time, the Gills would have finished 23rd after leading in just 7 games. They were level at the break in 26 of their 46 matches, the joint highest along with Wimbledon who were only behind in 6 compared to the Gills 13. Doncaster were leading in 21 games.
The Gills second half performances saw they "win" 17 and "lose" 12 of the halves after half time. It would have secured 68 points, 10 more than their final total in the league and 21 more than their first half performances.

Tuesday 20th
Priestfield Stadium saw the second fewest goals at the ground with 44 in the 23 games played with only Colchester's Jobserve Community Stadium seeing fewer. The most came at the Bescot with 78 goals (46 for Walsall and 32 for their opponents).
The fewest goals in League 2 came in games involving the Gills with just 87 goals in the 46 matches. Swindon fans witnessed the most goals with their side scoring 71 themselves and their opponents scoring 63.

Wednesday 21st
The longest trip involving the Gills was to Carlisle (334 miles) and the Gills secured 4 points in the 2 games - 3 points at home and 1 away. They only securred 4 points from the 6 matches played against the 3 sides closest to them.
Only Notts County and Port Vale had a larger playing surface in League 2 than Priestfield and the Gills won both away games at Meadow Lane and Vale Park (also 4 wins at the 5 grounds with the biggest pitches). Against the 4 sides with the smallest pitches in the division, the Gills lost 3 and drew 1.

Thursday 22nd
Walsall scored the most home goals (46) in League 2 - 61.3% of all of their goals scored and more than the 5 lowest scorers of all goals in the division (Tranmere, Carlisle, Harrogate, Gillingham and Morecambe). Barrow scored the biggest proportion of their goals at home (65.4%) whilst Bradford had the best home goal difference of +26.
Notts County scored the most goals (37) away from home in League 2 and also had the best away goal difference (+9). Fleetwood scored the biggest proportion of their goals away from home with 60% of all of their goals scored coming on the road.

Friday 23rd
Bradford conceded the fewest goals at home in League 2 (13) whilst the Gills were 5th after letting in 20. Bottom side Morecambe let in the most, conceding 36 at home - 1 more than Wimbledon's home and away total as the League 2 side with the best defence.
The Gills were the 5th best side in League 2 for home goals conceded and also 5th for away goals (26). Wimbledon conceded just 19 from their 23 away games whilst Newport let in 44 on the road.
