The Gills ended their League 2 campaign in 17th place and were 17th in the table for fewest losses in the division. Only 6 of their 19 defeats came in the second half of the season when just 4 sides had managed fewer.

Thursday 25th
No surprise to anyone that the Gills ended the season bottom for goals scored, 8 behind next worst side Colchester. This came after they scored 29 of their 36 goals in the second half of the season, placing them joint 9th highest scorers.

Friday 26th
The Gills were 9th in the table for fewest goals conceded and only 5 sides conceded fewer goals at home. The second half of the season was slightly better after the Gills conceded 21 goals in the final 23 games compared to 28 in the first 23.
