Saturday 4th
Most goals at any League 1 ground came at Accrington's Wham Stadium and Oxford's Kassam Stadium where the 23 games saw a total of 74 goals scored and conceded. Oxford scored 47 of those 74 goals, 2 fewer than the total scored at Priestfield by the Gills and their opponents.

More League 1 goals were scored in games involving Cheltenham than any other side with their 46 games generating 146 goals scored and conceded. The fewest goals involved Shrewsbury who saw an aggregate of 98 (47 scored by them), an average of 2.13 goals per game.

Sunday 5th
Wigan took an impressive 41 leads across their 46 league games, more than the total goals scored by 3 sides. 20 of the Gills 35 goals gave them the lead and Crewe scored 2 more but generated just 15 leads, the lowest total in the division.

Rotherham controlled games the most in League 1 last season, giving away just 14 leads across their 46 games. As well as taking the fewest leads (15), Crewe conceded the most with just under half of all their goals conceded giving their opponents a lead.

Monday 6th
Champions Wigan and fellow automatically promoted side Rotherham were 10th and 7th respectively for most shots on target. Top of the table were MK Dons with 234 in their 46 league games. They also had the largest difference (+98) between shots on target taken and faced.

League 1 total shots on target - 4,573 (4.1 per game)
Most Gills shots on target in a League 1 game - 9
Most shots on target taken in a League 1 game - 12 (Lincoln and Portsmouth)

Tuesday 7th
After having only the 10th highest total of shots on target, Wigan faced the fewest with their opponents managing 122 across the 46 games. Doncaster faced almost double, an average of 5.3 for every league games played.

League 1 total shots on target - 4,573 (4.1 per game)
Most Gills shots on target faced in a League 1 game - 10 (2 games)
Most shots on target faced in a League 1 game - 12 (Cambridge Utd and Crewe Alexandra)

Wednesday 8th
Accrington managed more shots at goal than any other League 1 side. Their 497 off target was 80 more than bottom side Doncaster managed both on and off target. Their 729 is an average of 15.8 per game but just 8.3% were scored from.

Thursday 9th
Rotherham won 315 corners in League 1, 143 more than they conceded. Doncaster won 176 corners, the lowest total in the division, and 104 fewer than they conceded.

League 1 total corners won - 5,617 (5.1 per game)
Most Gills corners won in a League 1 game - 12
Most corners won in a League 1 game - 15 (Sheffield Wednesday and Wigan Athletic)

Friday 10th
Wigan gave away just 150 corners last season, the fewest in the division and an average of 3.2 per game. Burton gave away the most with 287.

Most corners conceded in a League 1 game - 15 (Cheltenham Town and Plymouth Argyle)

Incredible and to think that being just about bottom of every statistic we got relegated, but where is the stat on teams that had the most midfield players,we MUST have been top in that table ?
