Saturday 21st
The Gills scored in 31 of their 53 games. 12 of those scoring games where during the opening 13 fixtures meaning that they only scored in 19 of the remaining 40 matches after. The Gills kept 14 clean sheets all season.

Sunday 22nd
8 of the Gills' 25 defeats this season were by a 0-2 score line, matching the number from last season making it 16 in 2 seasons. The previous 7 seasons combined saw the same number of 0-2 defeats. The Gills had never lost by a 0-2 score line more than 7 times in a season before last season.

Monday 23rd
The Gills scored just 1 goal in their last 7 games at Priestfield (with a -7 goal difference). In their last 7 away games, they scored 8 goals (with a neutral goal difference).

Tuesday 24th
The Gills conceded 5 goals at home to Oxford which were either scored directly from a set piece or which originated from one. The 18 games of the season played since then saw just 5 in those games combined.

Wednesday 25th
The Gills conceded a goal once every 91.6 minutes on average when Conor Masterson was on the pitch at the time, the highest figure in the Gills squad. When he was not on the field of play, the Gills let in a goal once every 19.0 minutes, also the highest total in the squad.

Thursday 26th
The only 2 sides to earn over 50 points from their home league matches were not sides who achieved automatic promotion. All 4 sides with the worst home record were the relegated sides with the Gills being 1 of 3 sides to earn just 20 points.
Wigan secured the League 1 title thanks in part to having the best away record. Their 48 points was 16 more than Sheffield Wednesday who would be 7th, as many points as Shrewsbury won in total and who were 1 of 2 sides in the bottom 4 who were not relegated.

Friday 27th
Hardly surprising that both automatically promoted sides Wigan and Rotherham won the most games last season however Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland won the most at home with 16 each. AFC Wimbledon won just 2 at home, the same number as Crewe away.
Champions Wigan lost the fewest games last season (8), fewer than 6 sides lost in just their home matches. Sheffield Wednesday lost 9 and failed to win promotion. Crewe lost 18 of their 23 away games, more than the total lost by any sides in positions 1 to 12.
