A win tomorrow at Bristol Rovers will see the club on 9 away wins for the league season. In the 3 occasions it has occured during a regular Football League season the Gills have been promoted (1973/4: Div 4 - 2nd, 1999/0: Div 3 - 3rd, 2008/9: Div 4, 5th). The Gills have only once won 10 games in a Football League (1984/5) and missed out on promotion finishing 4th. We have never won 11 away from home even after a play-off campaign!
