Away shirts

Question. Lets say Gillingham's home colours are like last year blue and our away colors are white, and we are playing Leeds at their ground. Can we play in our home colors if their home colors are the same as our away, e.g. white. ? I noticed that not all teams have a third choice.

Don't think it matters at all , as long as they don't clash .
For instance , we're wearing our home kit at Oxford this Saturday , and they're in yellow .

Don't think its about "home kit" & "away kit" - isn't it "kit" & "change kit"?
